With the school year in full swing, we are seeing a more extensive age range of kids from Pre-K to 12th grade. Early intervention is critical today in dealing with all of our young children. The sooner we can expose them to an environment of learning respect, connection, empathy, and critical thinking, we help create a healthier child for the future. Equine-assisted therapies help facilitate a path of self-discovery in a non-judgmental environment.
We are on our third year working with Hoosick Falls Central School District providing both Horsemanship Programs and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. The fact that the school has been consistent with delivering these programs for their students creates stability for kids whose lives are compromised and unstable.
Again, the horses are the ones that reach these children when no one else can.
